Being lucky

Hello,

Have you noticed that sometimes, when you try your luck, it actually shows up?

On my first job, I finished a task I thought was impossible. I told my boss, “I was lucky.”
He said, “No, you chased luck.”
That line still lives rent-free in my head.

It’s true. If you go after luck enough, sometimes it finds you.

It’s like planting seeds. The more you plant, the more sprouts you’ll see.

There’s a simpler way to say it: “You miss all the shots you don’t take.”

I’ve said before, it’s hard to know what you don’t know.
But you can try, fail, and try again. That’s how you figure it out.

I came across Samuel Rondot (@samuelrdt) recently, an incredible builder. He said, something like Release a lot of products. This will average your expectations.
That hit me. That it’s the same thing.
While you’re building, you touch so many new things.
You see things you didn’t even know existed.
And this can also unlock new ideas!

Every product you build, every thing you release, those are your seeds.

Be a farmer. Plant a lot.
